Have re-discovered the joys of reading again! I've been totally uninspired to do ANYTHING (and I really do mean anything, haven't wanted to draw at all, which is a pity but this cycle sometimes comes around) and save some catching up with friends and doing my Face A Day, I've been totally uninspired to do much. Moments like those, I find, reading is a pretty good thing to do, since all you have to do is sit there and read. Just finished Catcher in the Rye, which was a somewhat interesting book and I can understand why it left such a mark on American literature. But I wouldn't be in a hurry again to re-read it. Yesterday at my work place three was a second hand book store there so I got myself some nice stuff. Now I've a copy of Herman Hesse's Glass Bead Game (his seminal work, so I've heard), Alexandr Soltzhenitsyn's Invisible Allies (I started reading his August 1914 but had to discard it because it got flooded out), and I've juststarted Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder, which hopefully will be enjoyable. But I borrowed a copy of Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides earlier, so technically I should read that first...

Belated Happy 2012
Hello everyone, and how has your first sixth of the year been? (2 months! Seriously?) Thanks to the wonderful http://ninjafaun.deviantart.com/ I've been busy preparing for a local even called Stage Fright, were visual artists will be exhibiting and holding stalls, and performing artists will be entertaining! I've been busily creating, printing and packaging for that. Not to say anything about getting ready for uni again next week! My DA page needs a bit more attention and I plan to do that in the next few days. Stay well :)
Aaagh... The Realities of Student Life
Hello everyone, and how's life? Life for me has been study. In a good way! I've been having a ball actually doing my reading and diligently studying, but alas, that means art suffers a little if you get my drift. I haven't even been doing little scribbles and so on, and as a case in point, both my wordpress and tumblr are totally dry! I'm trying to break the drawing drought a little, but finished pieces will be far and few between, I think. At least, not until November or whenever uni is out! ;_; But now I have this assignment, due in a few days, am wanting to procrastinate, hence DA journaling. Eh. All I need to do is get into that nice ear
Catching Up and Tidying Up

Hello everyone! I'll be heading off to Sydney tomorrow with my mates to attend SMASH! We'll have a table there selling mostly printed matter. We'll be at table 26 if, you know, you happen to be in Sydney on teh 16th of July. I'll post a travel log and the days leading up to it next week on my blog, and I'll post up the pics that we printed as well. But now... time for bed. It's been a hectic week!
